The authors teamed up in the year 2019 to write a book on Objectives of food technology for the students of Food process technology for easy study, get maximum scores in their competitive exams. The present book contains more than 4000 MCQ questions on food technology, and planned unit operation wise with more attention. The chapters discussed on Food process technology, Food Chemistry and nutrition, Food Microbiology, Food Engineering and Food Laws and regulations. Many of these questions are already asked in previous competitive exams. The authors are hopeful that the book will prove to be useful to the students pursuing their degree programmes in Food Technology, Food processing technology, Food science and Technology, Food Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Technology etc. The book is intended to prove useful for students appearing for competitive exams like GATE, ICAR JRF, SRF, NET, ARS, other competitive exams like food safety officer, food inspector and also several state wise PG entrance exams. The students are advised to grasp the material through standard reference books for better understanding of the subject. We inspired by our beloved teacher Dr. S.
